A casino in the old sense, where you still have to schmear the maitre’d to even have a chance at a decent seat.
The long tables, seating about XX people, are set at right angles to the stage, Drinks are expensive, and tickets can go

$75; $4 parking. Do not forget to add a substantial schmear for the maitre’d if you want to sit close to the stage.

I deeply dislike this venue and do not recommend it. If it’s the only convenient place for you to see Tom then, by all means, enjoy.

Please give me some idea what to tip the maitre’d to get closer. It’s our first Tom Jones show and we would like to get as near as possible. All the tickets through Ticketmaster were mezzanine only. Help!

Hi, Linda: I asked some people familiar with Resorts and the answer is…….anywhere from $20 up to, well, lots more. People have been known to tip $50 or $100 and not get up front. To add to the dilemma, there’s a new maitre’d there — an unknown quantity.
Suggestion? Ask others you meet there what they do and get to the Superstar Theater early so you can scout the situation. I guess the thing is to just look on it as an adventure and, just in case, bring a pair of binocs.
Please let us know how the show is! Love hearing from first-timers. Ellen

Ellen, just got back from the TJ show. it was amazing and I got up close and personal by schmearing the maitre’d $50. It was so worth it. We were seated right up front to the left. I can’t wait to see him again. He is truly a SEX BOMB!!!!
