Tom’s On UK TV this weekend:

Our friend mharding informs us that the UK Biography Channel is showing the bio of Tom that was shown in the USA last December and the Cardiff concert. The bio will be shown on Sunday, September 10, 8 p.m. and Monday, 9/11 at 2 p.m.

To promote the shows, there are a couple of video clips. In one, which — rather oddly — is actually not from that biography Tom explains his glove factory employment as follows:

“I wanted to work with leather. I was always very interested in leather. I don’t know why. I think I still am….but…anyway…”

On September 9, at 9 p.m., they’re showing the Cardiff Castle concert. They’ve posted a clip to promote the show. He’s singing Delilah.

If you are curious, in addition to the show about Tom, you can see when one called “The Passions of Prince Charles” is on.

I’ve read that Tom likes to take drives while he is at home in Beverly Hills and I was wondering if you knew what type/kind of car Tom drives or has driven? I can picture him in a sports car more than I can in a luxury sedan or SUV.

While we don’t know for sure, last we heard, Tom has a (we think, red) Mercedes hardtop convertible and a Land Rover. As Lori is right, and Tom only drives in LA, we also heard that when Tom plays Las Vegas, Don drives him from LA in the Land Rover.

As we said, we’re not sure about all this, so if you spot him on the road, say “Hi” and let us know what he’s driving.

If you were to print a bumper sticker or t-shirt about Tom Jones, what would it say?

For example, “TOM JONES GIVES ME EAR-GASMS.” Or, “TOM JONES — ALWAYS & EVER THE BEST.”
