Auction Ends….A Big Thank You To All the Bidders…Now It’s On To MGM!

Our first venture into online charity auctions was very successful and we know that Sir Tom will be pleased. A few minutes before it ended, a UK fan placed the winning bid of $415. We are very grateful to the winner and the others who bid (and those who tried to bid but were immediately outbid).

Tom Jones has the world’s greatest fans!

Now, onto tonight’s opening at the MGM Grand…..Can’t wait!!

Just A Few Hours Left! GRAMMY Founcation-MusiCares Auction Ends 2:30 PM, PST

This is the last time we’ll be flogging this cause, but we’re doing it because it’s a great cause and we hope you’ll consider bidding!

The auction for the Tom Jones merchandise ends today, Thursday, December 7 at 2:30 p.m., Pacific Standard Time.

So, if you were considering placing a bid, now is the time. These are terrific causes that are so relevant in today’s critical environment where services are so needed and it is a fight to keep recorded music alive. These are causes close to Tom’s heart. From 2000: Here’s The Video of Tom’s Commercial for the Australian Rugby League

What A Came photo

As we noted in our Pitchman Perfect page — where we have information on commercials Tom’s done over the years — he did a TV spot for the Australian Rugby League in 2000. The song was an adaptation of the Salt N Pepa tune What A Man.

What A Game

There was some discussion in Australia about the ad. If you scroll to the bottom of the Pitchman Perfect page you’ll find an example.

Meanwhile, if you know of any ads he’s done, please let us know.

Hope you enjoy it. Better late than never, right?
