So that other fans will know what’s in store when they buy their tickets, please tell us a little bit about the venues you know. If possible, try to use the format below so others can tell at a glance what you think. The best venue will merit ****. More than one review of a venue is welcome.

Fan Reviews From St. Charles, MO; Please Send More From WI & MN

With the real dearth of newspaper reviews — and even when there are lots of them — we all love to read fan reviews. Of course, fans bring something special to a show and we hope, like Monica did so kindly below, those of you who see Tom in Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota, will share the experience with us.

I just wanted to let you know that I saw Tom at the Family Arena in St. Charles, MO last night. Although I’ve seen him many times before, this show was just as great as all the rest. The Family Arena is a basketball or hockey venue (I’m not certain) and really not my favorite place to see someone like Tom Jones. But he delivered, just like he always does, in an incredible fashion.

The crowd on the floor stood during all his hits and the encore. The setlist was the same or similar to December’s show in Vegas, except for the addition of He Stopped Loving Her Today. What a voice! He knocked that one out of the park! Incredible! I can’t tell you my favorite part of the show. I loved every minute of it. Leave Your Hat On, Git Me Some the “old” standards, Resurrection Shuffle. I just can’t say enough about this man’s incredible voice. My hat’s off to you Sir Tom. Well done. Well done.

Monica: Thanks for the review. There’s nothing like a fan review to get the real flavour of the show. Tommy ROCKS!!

Would like to say that I had one of the best times of my life when I saw Tom Jones at the family arend in St. Charles, Mo. He sounds and looks great! I was just thoroughly impressed with how well he looked and ow awesome his voice is! I’ve never been to one of his concerts before and it’s the best live performance I have ever seen! The two women who went with me had never seen im either. They are around his age and were just in awe at the concert.

It was like a major event in their lives. There are not enough words to describe how much I enjoyed seeing Tom Jones in concert! I am still in shock! I cannot wait to see him again! I could never be soon enough!

Joann, welcome aboard. Reading your account of your first Tom Jones concert reminded me of how I felt after seeing Tom in 2004. My first concert was in ‘71 and then, 32 years later I thought it would be a hoot to go see an older Tom sing Pussycat and It’s Not Unusual. Past that, I did not have too high of expectations. What I got was, of course so much more then that. As I walked out of the venue that evening, I was dumbfounded and I am sure had a confused look on my face while thinking, “Did I just see what I think I did?” I knew I had to experience this again, so I have. NINE MORE TIMES!!!! We just can’t get enough, and no matter where we roam, we always come home to TOM JONES.

Hi, I was at the Concert in Baraboo in Wisconsin on Friday night, I don’t need to go over the playlist, most fans know what it is. Also most fans will already know how fabulous the concert was, what a gentlemen he always is — even when one fan slingshot a pair of black thongs right at his face during one of his songs. In his usual tolerant manner, he didn’t skip a beat, wiped his brow with them and laughed. He is so good to his fans. He looked fabulous, looked like he lost about 10 lbs, (not that he needed to) but he really was in great shape. The last two songs, security let us go up by the stage, which he always seems to love and he sang his heart out for us all while we danced and swayed. I have seen him around 30 times now and it never fails to amaze me that I am in a daze for weeks after and cannot wait until the next much-anticipated concert that will hopefully be somewhere I can get to. He is amazing, a gift from God and just keeps getting better and better.

I was also at the Ho-Chunk Casino in Baraboo, WI and saw Tom. Overall — VERY GOOD show. I miss the opening Tom Jones International and I really don’t care for “the standards” … not when those songs replaced so MANY good songs (such as We’ve Got Tonight amongst others) I was kind of disappointed that my 4th row seats really were not 4th row … the casino puts about a dozen tables stageside for the high rollers. I did like the big screens on either side for obstructed views. Sir Tom — come back to Milwaukee at the Potowatomi Casino. Can someone PLEASE change the same wardrobe Tom has been wearing for the past 3 + years

Elvisguitarman: We agree with so much you said…..and for some reason we, too, really miss Tom Jones International. Seriously, your comment is insightful. Thanks.
