A Disclaimer & A Special Sound Bite From March 27, Opening Night At MGM

First, we want to say emphatically and forcefully that neither Ellen nor Ursula owns a digital sound recording device of any kind. That said, a fan (who for obvious reasons asked to remain anonymous) was “so moved” by our presentation of the card commemorating Tom’s 40th anniversary in Las Vegas — especially by the fact that we took it around the Hollywood Theatre and asked people at the show to sign it — that this fan sent us this sound bite. At the beginning you’ll notice what we can best describe as a slight premature ejaculation of enthusiasm on our part, but everyone had a good laugh about it.
So, here it is — Tom receiving his 40th anniversary card.

I love it! Thanks so much for sharing it with us and thanks for representing us fans the way you do. I just love his voice! Wouldn’t it be great if he did an audio book or a narration/voice-over for a movie?

Why does Tom sound like he’s singing when he’s talking? Maybe it’s me. Ah that VOICE! Given being in the same situation, I’m sure we all understand your “premature ejaculation” ahem. Thanks for sharing!

I agree with Lori, Tom should do, for instance, an audio autobiographie or any other kind of narration. Listening to him talk is a pure delight.

I agree with Darla & Susanne. I’ve been a fan since I was 18, and am looking so forward to seeing him May 19th. I saw him in the 70’s in Vegas & since the first This is Tom Jones DVD box set came out last year I’ve been experiencing a re-obsession for Tom. I now have the second DVD box set; I can’t get enough of him! The way he sings from his heart & soul just thrills me.
