Sharon: We would still edit the video if we were able and would leave in all the pertinent stuff — what the charity is and Tom talking about it. We would have gotten rid of a lot of the filler, as we did with the 2007 video. We are not so obsessed with Tom Jones that there’s no room for anything else. but some of this was of no interest at all to many people. We’ve written about the charity before and posted a link to its website.And, in truth, except for the fact that it’s a charity that does good work in Vancouver, we still have absolutely no idea “why he was there” (as opposed to being at other charity events) “and why it’s important to him.” But that doesn’t matter. All that matters is that he was there and did support it.

I'm so glad that you all were unable to edit the video. This is a charity that Tom believes in. If it were edited, we would only see Tom and not understand why he was there, and why it's important to him.

I loved the pictures and the video. I liked the slower beat he was singing KISS to. I, too, liked the cigar and the glass of champange while he was singing. What a great picture that would make. What else can I say…he’s just great no matter what he does, how he does it or where he does it!

Love the cigar! He should do that more often. Also noticed all the Dom P. bottles while watching the video… the man can sing and not slur a word! Either that or he was behaving himself!!
