Tom Jones At HOB New Orleans: No Review, But Some Photos We Love

In the absence of newspaper reviews of Tom in New Orleans, we’re posting these photos. We think they’re terrific and the photographer assures us the shows were “fabulous” and the bad video on youtube doesn’t begin to tell the story. Although we’ve seen enough stage photos to last us a long, loooong time, we really like these because they are pictures of a man lost in his music and the passion he feels for it shines through.
Of course, if you’ve seen him since the the end of 2006, you know he’s singing Git Me Some. If you haven’t, then that’s what it looks like when he does.

Gee but the suspense is KILLING me. I can’t wait to get home to see his show! all this show talk is making me anxious. August seems too far away. But it has been great to hear as many details about recent shows as possible. Does anyone know what Tom does when he is not working and, does anyone know if there is ever a time that Tom’s not working?

Loved the pictures. Yes, the first words out of my mouth were Git Me Some! Too bad his shirt isn’t positioned the right way.

I second Lori’s comment. I love that he does it seated and those who have been lucky to be up close when he does this song are pleasantly treated to a great view. Smile. Just a reflection. No way does it negate his amazing voice, just adds a little tease. Loved the pics.

This is a great tease for the upcoming shows in Vegas this August. Can’t wait to see Tom - closest seat I have ever been able to get - 2nd row! I am more excited than a four-year old Christmas morning…
